Water
India is a nation under extreme water stress, with hundreds of millions of people lacking access to safe and affordable drinking water. DAWES utilizes proprietary kiosks proven throughout India to provide purified and even chilled drinking water on demand, at prices that are 80-90% cheaper than bottled water.
Source water and municipal water, when available, are often found to be unsafe for consumption, containing E. Coli, chemicals, farm runoff, and other forms of contamination. The quality of DAWES water is monitored and controlled to ensure safety and quality.
Cold Storage
Around 40% of food product is lost or wasted due to lack of cold-chain facilities. Farmer income can be dramatically improved by preserving perishables for days or weeks until oversupply conditions are alleviated and prices recover to profitable levels.
